Signyd Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026 This Cookie Policy explains how Villaces Inc., (“Signyd”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on signyd.com and app.signyd.com (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage in your browser, serve comparable purposes. We refer to all of them as “cookies” in this policy.2. Our approach
Signyd does not use third-party analytics, advertising, social media or other external tracking tools. We do not use cookies to profile you, to track you across other websites, or to show you targeted advertising. We only use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the Service you request.3. Cookies we use
Some of these cookies are set by providers that run core functions of the Service on our behalf: Cloudflare (security, bot protection and delivery of the application) and Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention, only on payment pages). They are used only for those purposes, and not for analytics, profiling or advertising.
The exact names and lifetimes of cookies may change as the Service evolves. We will keep this table up to date.
4. Legal basis and consent
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, which are essential for the Service to work and for the security of your session, they do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive and similar laws. Their use is based on our legitimate interest, and our contract with you, to provide and secure the Service. For this reason we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, such as analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting them, where the law requires it.5. Server logs
When you visit the Service, our servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages and the date and time of the request. We use this for security, troubleshooting and to keep the audit trail reliable, as described in our Privacy Policy. This is not done through cookies.6. Third-party content
Some pages may load resources from third-party providers that we use to run the Service, such as content delivery networks, payment pages or identity verification screens. If you are redirected to a third-party page, such as a payment processor or an identity verification provider, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. We recommend that you review their privacy and cookie notices.7. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or alert you when a cookie is set. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Service, such as signing in or completing a signature, will not work properly.
