# Contacts

> Save people you send to often.

Route: `/contacts`

A contact stores **email**, **first name**, and **last name**. Use contacts when you prepare a document so you do not retype signers.

## Add and edit

* Create a contact from **Contacts**
* Pick a saved contact on the prepare recipients step
* Update the name or email; future requests use the new values

Removing a contact does not change documents already sent.
